After the success of Atlus Co.'s Persona 3 and Persona 3: FES, they've decided to follow up the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series with Persona 4.
First screens have revealed that Persona 4 will run on the same proprietary engine of Persona 3, with many of the original commands, such as "One More" and "All-Out Attack" making a return, along with Sogabe Shuji and Meguri Shoji returning as Character Designer and Musical Director, respectively.
One of the major differences in the new game is that it takes place in the laid-back, somewhat retro fictional Japanese town of Yasoinaba. Where the previous games featured extremely modern cities, Persona 4 takes place in a small town, with the similar premise of the protagonists attending a local high school.
